What Is A Fanlisting?
A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject. TheFanlistings.org is the original (but not official) web directory for fanlistings, dedicated to uniting the fans.

Anime/Manga Inuyasha
The anime and manga Inuyasha is about a girl named Kagome and her travels in Sengoku Jidai (Feudal Era of Japan).
It all started on Kagome's 15th birthday, just as she was about to leave for school, her younger brother Souta came running to her, asking her to help him find their family pet, a cat named Bouyo.
They searched around for the troublesome pet before Souta suggested checking in the well house. Souta wouldn't go in, so Kagome did. Just as she was about to leave, finding Bouyo not there, she heard a scratching coming from inside of the old well.
Her first thought was that, Bouyo couldn't have gotten in there, could he? Without really thinking, Kagome pulled the lid off but nothing was there. With a sigh, she turned and leaned against the well.
Just as she could go, something grabbed her from behind and she was engulfed in a soft blue light. Of course, as any normal human, she freaked at what she saw. A giant centipede held her tight.
This overly large bug went by the name of Mistress Centipede, she sniffed and licked Kagome, muttering about a Shikon Jewel. Kagome managed to free herself from the creature by blasting it with some unknown power to her and breaking off an arm.
When Kagome looked up, she was once again at the bottom of the well. She called for her grandfather or her brother but once she got no answer, she climbed up the well by vines. Throwing her legs over the rim, she stood and looked around.
Wondering where she was, her eyes darted around before laying on the Goshinboku, or God Tree. This tree is quite large and was a historical landmark. Becoming happy that she could find her way, it was soon crushed as she neared the tree.
She did not find her home, nor her family but a boy. A silver haired boy that was bound to the tree by an arrow with vines entwining around him. Upon closer inspection, Kagome noticed that this boy had puppy ears on his head, and promptly touched and petted them.
Kagome didn't get a chance to do anything else, before arrows were shot at her. And voices could be heard. A group of men grabbed her and tied up, dragging her back to their village. Kagome finds herself placed on a pile of hay in the middle of the village with people surrounding her, whispering and wondering if she's a demon.
An old hunched over woman approached her, dressed in the traditional red and white priestess garments. She throws purifying rice on Kagome, saying Demon be gone! Kagome protests and the woman stops. Grabbing her face, she looks Kagome over, before signaling for her to be untied.
As the day progresses, Kagome has sat down and gotten a chance to talk with the miko, who's name is Kaede. Shouts from the men outside, avert their attention as the cry of a demon is heard.
Racing outside, Kagome notices a light over the forest. Kaede is surprised that she can see it. Against the wishes of Kaede, Kagome races towards the light, saying she would lead the demon away. She arrives right back at the Goshinboku.
Her eyes shift back and forth, she didn't know what to do until a voice is heard turning around she notices that the boy has awoken. He at first mistakes Kagome for someone else but the demon that had attacked the village found them, Mistress Centipede had returned.
The boy makes an offer to Kagome, set him free and he would slay the demon for her. Kagome contemplated this as she climbed on the vines to reach him. Mistress Centipede wrapped her body around the tree, crushing Kagome against the strange boy. With her hand around the arrow, Kaede and the men appear.
Kaede yells to Kagome to not pull the arrow and release the demon but she has no other choice. The arrow disappears when Kagome pulls it out and a evil grin appears on the boy's face.
The boy, who Kagome discovered name was Inuyasha, an inu hanyou, fights Mistress Centipede, but the insect attacks Kagome, biting her side. Out flies a shimmering round orb.
Kaede gasps, muttering about it returning and she yells for Kagome to grab the jewel. In her weakened state, Kagome reaches for the jewel. Standing onto unsteady feet, she tries to run but falls and drops the jewel. Mistress Centipede swallows the jewel and changes into an even stronger form.
Inuyasha manages to kill the demon, and Kaede takes the jewel out of the body of the demon and hands it to Kagome. Suddenly, Inuyasha demands for the jewel but Kagome refuses to give it to him.
Before anything else could happen, Inuyasha is subdued by a necklace Kaede made and Kagome controls it. She only has to say the word osuwari or "sit".
As time goes, about two days or so. The jewel is stolen by a group of bandits and upon trying to re-cover it, Kagome accidentally shatters it into hundreds of tiny shards all over Japan.
And this is where our story truly begins, as Kagome and Inuyasha make their way across Japan to recover the Shikon no kakera (Shikon Shards). Along the way they make friends, Shippou the kitsune who's family was killed by the Thunder Brothers, Miroku the houshii who is cursed with a void in his right hand, and Sango the taijiya whose entire family and village was slaughtered.
They must battle against a truly sinister hanyou by the name of Naraku who has in some way made theirs and any other person he comes in contact with life a living hell. For he is also seeking the Shikon Shards...
